AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are Football Knockout ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a business registered in the United Kingdom at 2 Lords Wood Close, Chorley, Lancashire PR7 2FH.
We operate the website

(the "Site"), together with any other related products and services that refer or link to these Legal Terms (collectively, the "Services").
These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Football Knockout concerning your access to and use of the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Legal Terms. If you do not agree with these Legal Terms, you must not use the Services.
Additional terms, conditions, rules or policies that may apply to particular parts of the Services are incorporated into these Legal Terms by reference.
We may update these Legal Terms from time to time. Where we do so, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after updated Legal Terms have been published will constitute acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires us to obtain your express agreement or provide you with additional notice.
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.
We recommend that you retain a copy of these Legal Terms for your records.
1. OUR SERVICES
Football Knockout is a football prediction and elimination game in which users select football teams in accordance with the applicable game rules.
The Services may include free features as well as optional paid features and services, including FK Pro.
FK Pro
FK Pro is an optional paid subscription that provides additional information, features and functionality intended to assist users when making selections within Football Knockout.
Depending on the subscription and features available at the relevant time, FK Pro may include additional football information, statistics, analysis, recommendations, selection assistance and an automatic selection where a user has not made a valid selection by the applicable deadline.
FK Pro is not required to participate in Football Knockout.
FK Pro is intended to provide additional information and convenience. It does not guarantee that a user will make a successful selection, survive a round, win a competition or receive a prize.
Information provided through FK Pro should be treated as information and decision-support material only. It does not constitute financial, professional or other regulated advice.
Automatic selections
Where FK Pro includes an automatic selection feature, and you have not made a valid selection by the applicable selection deadline, we may select a team on your behalf using the selection methodology and information available to us at that time.
Any automatically selected team is selected using information available at the relevant time. We do not guarantee that the automatically selected team will be the team that, with the benefit of hindsight, would have produced the best possible outcome, or that it will maximise your chances of winning or surviving a round.
The availability and operation of automatic selections may depend on the availability and accuracy of football fixtures, results, statistics and other information provided to us by third parties.
You remain responsible for ensuring that you understand the applicable Football Knockout rules and deadlines.
Football information
Information, statistics, rankings, recommendations, fixtures, results and other football-related information displayed through the Services may be obtained from third-party data providers or other sources.
Although we take reasonable steps to provide useful and accurate information, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, current or error-free.
The Services are not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirement within that jurisdiction or country.
Users accessing the Services from other locations are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with applicable local laws.
2. FK PRO SUBSCRIPTIONS, PRICES AND PAYMENT
FK Pro is available on a recurring subscription basis. Depending on the options offered at the time of purchase, you may be able to subscribe on a monthly or annual basis.
The applicable price, billing period and any other material subscription information will be presented to you before you complete your purchase.
By purchasing FK Pro, you agree that the subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the next renewal.
Payment platforms
Payment for FK Pro may be processed through:
- the Football Knockout website;
- the Apple App Store; or
- Google Play,
depending on where you purchase your subscription.
Where your subscription is purchased through Apple or Google, the relevant platform's payment, subscription management and applicable terms may also apply to your transaction.
Where your subscription is purchased directly through the Football Knockout website, payment will be processed using the payment provider made available to you at checkout.
We do not generally receive or store your full payment-card details where payment is processed by a third-party payment provider or platform.
Recurring payments
For a monthly subscription, you will be charged at the applicable monthly rate on each renewal date.
For an annual subscription, you will be charged at the applicable annual rate on each renewal date.
Your subscription will continue to renew until cancelled.
You authorise the applicable payment provider or platform to take the applicable recurring payment using your selected payment method.
You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information remains valid and up to date.
If a payment fails, we or the applicable payment provider may retry the payment and/or suspend or restrict your FK Pro access until successful payment is received.
3. CANCELLATION OF FK PRO
You may cancel your FK Pro subscription at any time.
Cancellation will prevent your subscription from automatically renewing at the end of the current billing period.
Unless you are entitled to an earlier cancellation or refund under applicable law, cancelling your subscription does not immediately terminate your current FK Pro access.
You will continue to receive the FK Pro benefits included in your subscription until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
For example, if you have an annual FK Pro subscription and cancel six months into that subscription, your FK Pro access will normally remain available for the remaining six months, but your subscription will not renew for another year.
Similarly, cancelling a monthly subscription will normally allow you to continue using FK Pro until the end of the current paid monthly period.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google
If you purchased FK Pro through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancellation may need to be completed through your Apple or Google account and in accordance with the applicable platform's subscription management procedures.
Cancelling your Football Knockout account does not necessarily cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google. You should cancel the relevant subscription through the platform through which you purchased it.
4. REFUNDS AND STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Payments for a current FK Pro billing period are generally non-refundable following cancellation, and cancelling a subscription does not ordinarily result in a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period.
However, nothing in these Legal Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where applicable law gives you a right to cancel a subscription or obtain a refund, that right will apply notwithstanding the provisions of these Legal Terms.
Where you purchase FK Pro online or through a digital platform, additional consumer cancellation rights may apply. Where required by law, we will obtain the appropriate consent and acknowledgement before providing digital services or content immediately during a statutory cancellation period.
Any refund due in connection with a purchase made through Apple or Google may be subject to the applicable platform's refund procedures and policies.
5. CHANGES TO FK PRO
We may add, remove, modify, improve or otherwise change features of FK Pro from time to time.
Changes may be made to improve the Services, respond to changes in football data or technology, address security or technical issues, or for other legitimate business reasons.
We do not guarantee that any particular FK Pro feature will remain available indefinitely.
Where a change materially reduces the core benefits of a paid FK Pro subscription, we will provide such notice or offer such rights as may be required by applicable law.
We may also temporarily suspend individual FK Pro features where necessary for maintenance, technical reasons, data-provider issues, security reasons or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Our intellectual property
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs and graphics in the Services (collectively, the "Content"), as well as the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein (the "Marks").
Our Content and Marks are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and treaties.
The Content and Marks are provided through the Services for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise expressly permitted by us.
Your use of our Services
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
- access and use the Services; and
- download or print a copy of portions of the Content to which you have properly gained access,
solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
Except as expressly permitted by these Legal Terms or by applicable law, no part of the Services, Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed or otherwise commercially exploited without our prior written permission.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
Any breach of these intellectual property provisions may constitute a material breach of these Legal Terms and may result in termination or suspension of your access to the Services.
Your submissions and contributions
If you send us questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback or other information about the Services ("Submissions"), you agree that we may use that information for lawful purposes without compensation to you.
Where the Services allow you to submit or publish content ("Contributions"), you retain ownership of your Contributions, but grant us the rights reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the Services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
You remain responsible for the content you submit or publish.
7. USER REPRESENTATIONS
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- all registration information you provide is true, accurate, current and complete;
- you will maintain the accuracy of your information;
- you have the legal capacity to enter into these Legal Terms;
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means except where expressly authorised;
- you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and
- your use of the Services will comply with applicable laws and regulations.
If you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, we may suspend or terminate your account in accordance with these Legal Terms.
8. USER REGISTRATION
You may be required to register for an account to use some or all of the Services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
You must not share, sell, transfer or otherwise provide access to your account to another person.
We reserve the right to remove, reclaim or change usernames where we reasonably consider them inappropriate, misleading or otherwise objectionable.
9. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than the purposes for which we make them available.
As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
- systematically retrieve data or Content from the Services to create or compile a database or directory without our written permission;
- trick, defraud or mislead us or other users;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with security features;
- use the Services to harass, abuse or harm another person;
- make improper use of support services or submit false reports;
- use the Services in violation of applicable law;
- engage in unauthorised framing of or linking to the Services;
- upload or transmit malicious software or other material that interferes with the Services;
- use automated systems, bots, scrapers or similar tools to access or extract data from the Services without our written permission;
- delete copyright or proprietary notices;
- impersonate another user;
- interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable burden on the Services;
- harass, threaten or intimidate our employees or representatives;
- bypass measures designed to restrict access to the Services;
- copy or adapt the Services' software except where permitted by law;
- reverse engineer or decompile the Services except where permitted by law;
- use the Services as part of a competing service or commercial enterprise without our written permission;
- sell, transfer or commercially exploit access to FK Pro or any other part of the Services; or
- share your FK Pro access with another person.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these provisions have been breached.
10. USER-GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS
The Services may allow users to create, submit, post, display or otherwise provide content or materials.
You are responsible for your Contributions and must ensure that they do not:
- infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
- contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful material;
- contain malicious software;
- constitute unauthorised advertising or spam; or
- otherwise breach these Legal Terms or applicable law.
We may remove Contributions that we reasonably consider to breach these Legal Terms or applicable law.
11. ADVERTISERS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We may allow third-party advertisers or service providers to display information or advertisements through the Services.
We are not responsible for the products, services, websites or content of third parties.
Where you interact with or purchase from a third party, your relationship with that third party is governed by its own terms and policies.
12. SERVICES MANAGEMENT
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:
- monitor the Services for breaches of these Legal Terms;
- take appropriate action where we reasonably believe these Legal Terms or applicable law have been breached;
- restrict or disable access to Contributions or parts of the Services;
- remove content that is unlawful or harmful to the Services; and
- manage the Services in a manner designed to protect our rights, users and systems.
13. PRIVACY POLICY
We care about data privacy and security.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Legal Terms.
14. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS
We respect the intellectual property rights of others.
If you believe that material available through the Services infringes intellectual property rights that you own or control, please contact us using the contact details in Section 26.
15. TERM AND TERMINATION
These Legal Terms remain in force while you use the Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to some or all of the Services where we reasonably believe that you have:
- breached these Legal Terms;
- breached applicable law;
- engaged in fraud or attempted fraud;
- misused the Services;
- attempted to circumvent security or game rules; or
- otherwise engaged in conduct that materially harms the Services or other users.
Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we may provide notice before suspension or termination.
If your account is terminated because of a breach of these Legal Terms, you must not create another account to circumvent the termination.
FK Pro termination
If we terminate or suspend your FK Pro access because of your breach of these Legal Terms, you may lose access to FK Pro immediately and may not be entitled to a refund, subject always to any statutory rights that apply.
If we discontinue FK Pro altogether, we will provide any notice or refund required by applicable law.
Termination of FK Pro does not necessarily terminate your Football Knockout account.
16. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS
We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Services from time to time.
We may also experience interruptions, delays or errors resulting from maintenance, hardware or software problems, third-party services, football data providers, hosting providers, internet services or other circumstances.
We will use reasonable efforts to restore affected Services where reasonably practicable.
We do not guarantee that the Services or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. CORRECTIONS AND FOOTBALL DATA
The Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including in relation to fixtures, results, statistics, prices, availability, recommendations or other information.
We may correct or update information where reasonably necessary.
Football fixtures, kick-off times, results and other information may change after being initially published.
Where the Services rely on information supplied by third parties, we cannot guarantee that such information will always be accurate or available.
18. DISCLAIMER
The Services, including FK Pro, are provided on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the Services will:
- always be available;
- be uninterrupted;
- be error-free;
- contain complete or current information; or
- produce any particular outcome.
FK Pro information, statistics, recommendations and automatic selections are provided to assist users in making decisions within Football Knockout. They do not guarantee a successful outcome.
Football is inherently unpredictable. We do not guarantee that any team recommendation, statistical analysis, prediction or automatic selection will result in survival, a win or a prize.
Nothing in these Legal Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Legal Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services.
We will not be responsible for losses arising from:
- events outside our reasonable control;
- temporary unavailability of the Services;
- errors or omissions in third-party football data;
- changes to football fixtures or results;
- failures of third-party payment, hosting, app-store or data-provider platforms;
- your failure to make a selection before an applicable deadline;
- an automatically selected team not producing the outcome you expected; or
- your reliance on information or recommendations provided through FK Pro.
Nothing in these Legal Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
20. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for losses, liabilities, claims or reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Legal Terms, your unlawful use of the Services, or your infringement of another person's rights.
This section does not require you to compensate us for losses caused by our own breach of law or contractual obligations.
21. USER DATA
We maintain certain information relating to your account and use of the Services for the purposes of operating and improving the Services.
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Although we take reasonable steps to protect and back up information, you acknowledge that no online service can guarantee that data will never be lost or corrupted.
22. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, TRANSACTIONS AND SIGNATURES
Visiting the Services, sending us emails, completing online forms and purchasing Services electronically constitute electronic communications.
You consent to receive communications electronically, including notices, confirmations and other information relating to your use of the Services.
Where permitted by law, electronic communications satisfy requirements for written communications.
Where you purchase FK Pro online, your order confirmation and relevant subscription information may be provided electronically.
23. MISCELLANEOUS
These Legal Terms, together with any policies or rules incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and us concerning the Services.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Legal Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.
If any provision is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Legal Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us.
24. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Legal Terms affects any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the country in which you live.
Subject to those rights, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Legal Terms.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any statutory rights you may have or bringing a claim through an appropriate court or other dispute-resolution process.
